DRIFT RIDEs
Ever wanted to experience drifting around a racetrack at high speeds? We thought so, that's exactly why we created Slide-Alongs, our version of drifting ride-alongs. At HyperFest, we give you the opportunity to not only go for a drifting ride, but sometimes alongside 2-3 other cars in tandem.
Previous events have featured two-time Formula DRIFT champion Vaughn Gittin, Jr in his Monster Energy Nitto Tire Ford Mustang RTR, three-time Formula DRIFT champion Chris Forsberg in his 4 door Infiniti M50, Formula DRIFT competitors Ryan Tuerck in his GT86 street car, Chelsea DeNofa in a Ford Mustang RTR, Forrest Wang in his Get Nuts Nissan 240SX, Dirk Stratton in his Lingenfelter Chevrolet Camaro, as well as Hoonigan Steve Angerman in his Maxxis Tire Nissan 240SX. Drivers for this year’s event will be announced shortly.

Due to the nature of the event, to ensure we stay on schedule, and give rides to everyone who signs up, we cannot guarantee which driver you will receive a ride from. When possible, we will try out best to accommodate you, but we simply can't promise it. We apologize for any inconvenience the may cause you, but assure you that all drivers are professionals, equally talented, and that you will have the utmost fun in any of their cars.

Yes, however we ask that you do so with some hesitation. As much as you want to relive the excitement of the ride and show your friends later on, if you're too busy focusing on what you are recording, you will most likely end up missing the actual live experience of the ride. Plenty of people before you have previously filmed their rides if you Google them (including some of the drivers who may have a GoPro mounted to their car or themselves during your ride), just watch their videos and enjoy your ride in the moment.
After all that, if you still want to record your ride, we recommend that you have your phone or camera tethered with a leash or strap to ensure you don't drop it. Phones and cameras rarely escape the track in the same condition as when they left your hand. Also, selfie sticks are not allowed and we require that you keep your hands in the car at all times and do not block the driver's view while filming.

While we prefer warm and sunny days, it doesn't always happen to work out that way. Since the event is in May, showers have been known to make a brief appearance. Because HyperFest is an outdoor event, we run rain or shine, but that doesn't mean you still can't have fun.
