frequently asked questions

  • Participants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid state or government issued photo ID.

  • Dress for this activity is a sleeved shirt (short sleeves are ok, just no tank tops), long pants, and closed toed shoes (no Crocs or slip-ons). Because this event takes place in May, we understand it may be warm during the day at the event. You are welcome to bring a change of clothes and change before and after your session if you prefer.

  • Yes, however if you do not have a helmet, loaner helmets will be available for you to use during your ride. If you'd like to wear your own helmet, it must be a SNELL SA2010 rated or newer helmet.

  • Once, however each racecar ride-along consists of several laps around the 18-turn, 3.27-mile Full Course. The ride will last approximately 18-20 minutes depending on the session.

  • Yes, you may sign up for more than one ride-along pending spaces are available. Just make sure you sign up for different sessions.

  • Due to the nature of the event, to ensure we stay on schedule, and give rides to everyone who signs up, we cannot guarantee which driver or vehicle you will receive a ride from. When possible, we will try out best to accommodate you, but we simply can't promise it. We apologize for any inconvenience the may cause you, but assure you that all drivers are professionals, equally talented, and that you will have the utmost fun in any of their cars.

  • Yes, however we ask that you do so with some hesitation. As much as you want to relive the excitement of the ride and show your friends later on, if you're too busy focusing on what you are recording, you will most likely end up missing the actual live experience of the ride. Plenty of people before you have previously filmed their rides if you Google them (including some of the drivers who may have a GoPro mounted to their car or themselves during your ride), just watch their videos and enjoy your ride in the moment.

After all that, if you still want to record your ride, we recommend that you have your phone or camera tethered with a leash or strap to ensure you don't drop it. Phones and cameras rarely escape the track in the same condition as when they left your hand. Plus we don't have the time or manpower to spend time scouring over 3+ miles of track to find it. Also, selfie sticks are not allowed and we require that you keep your hands in the car at all times and do not block the driver's view while filming.
